“All my life I have envied others with white teeth. My teeth were soft, dull and yellowed. Following a failed root canal, a weak upper bridge, a history of dental problems and my long serving prosthodontist’s recommendation that I consider several, expensive implants, I phoned Dr. Thomas, asking “Help.” Dr. Thomas had undertaken advanced training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He suggested that I consider a ‘full mouth reconstruction.’ Since I was from out of province, this required several trips of some distance. I was surprised to learn that he would be able to complete everything in four appointments. The first was a consultation, the second involved TENSing and taking impressions, the third more TENSing and the provision of temporaries, and the fourth to put in the permanent teeth. Each of the final two appointments was intensive and involved 3-4 hours in the dental chair. It felt good to be in a one-chair dental office. All of his attention while he was working was on me and me alone! He worked quickly but competently, and only very minor adjustments were required. I am now the proud recipient of a mouthful of new white teeth. I feel like a new man. When I meet and greet new people, I now find myself looking first at their smile. People with nice white teeth seem to smile more, exude more confidence, and project a more positive self-image than those with yellowed teeth.
